Welcome to Meerut Tax Bar Association
The Meerut Tax Bar Association (Regd.) Meerut is one of the largest and oldest Bar Association of Western U.P. It was established in the year 1972. Late Shri. P.P. Jain Advocate was elected founder president and Shri. Ratish Mohan Advocate was elected first general secretary of the bar. The bar evolved to existing two hundred members from small size of founder members. The founder general secretary Shri. Ratish Mohan Ji is still working as patron of the bar and is showering his blessings and guidance for the welfare of the bar and its members. The Meerut Tax Bar Association is famous for congenial atmoshphere. It has cordial relations with bench also. Several meetings of bar with bench are organised during a year which provides a healthy and harmonial atmoshphere resulting in best out come. The bar has a unique composition. It works under the patron of elder committee which enlightens the bar by their valuable suggestions at the time of need. And hence a custom of respect and honour for seniors is evolving gradually. The bar is managed by an executive committee in which office bearers are elected or nominated each year. The session begins from 16th May each year. Our bar has largest space ever found with any bar for his members with at least two hundred sitting capacity. It is very well furnished and designed. It is fully air conditioned. It has a large liabrary with latest Journals, Acts and Rules. Its pleasant environment persuades for better working. A large number of its members are equipped with their seprate lockers which are maintained by the bar. The bar organises different study meets in which scholars from all over India do participate. It helps the members to equip with latest know how and knowledge. It organises family meetings also at least twice a year which increases harmoney amongst families of advocates. It organises several indoor and outdoor sports meets to keep its members fit physically as well as mentally. We welcome any positive suggestions, guidance from all over and try to adopt it for uplift and betterment for its memebers.
